Pat Burke,B.A.,LMT
Pat originally hails from Marblehead, MA. She moved to Englewood in 1986 and attended the American School of Massage in Sarasota, obtaining her Fl massage license in 1987 (MA0007603.) After a brief stint working for a chiropractor, Pat worked at the Gasparilla Inn in Boca Grande from 1989-1993. While there, she had the pleasure of meeting and working with such notables as Katherine Hepburn and President and Mrs. George H.W. Bush. In 1993, she opened the original Oasis on Boca Grande, where she remained until 2006.
She describes her massage as integrative--incorporating a variety of modalities she has studied over the years including Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Therapy, and Assisted Stretching.
In 1994, Pat completed additional training and received her license as a Facial Specialist (Esthetician.)
